Packing tips: Travel Guides share their packing trick to avoid excess baggage and ‘fit more in’
They’ve pretty much made going on holiday their job.
So if anyone has any good packing tips, it’s the Travel Guides.
The Fren family, who star in the Nine show, have mastered it, revealing how they make the most out of limited space.

Victoria admits they do find packing hard, setting aside two full days to do it. However she said they’ve learned a few tricks.
“Instead of folding your clothes in a suitcase, you actually lay them out flat, and you get more room,” she tells 9Travel.
“So much more fits in,” Cathy adds. “And it doesn’t crush as much.”
”And when you go and get something out it’s a little bit like a folder, you lift it and pull it out, it’s really good.”

However, with them travelling so much for the show, Victoria admits by the end they often just “throw it in.”
“Certainly by the end of the trip our bag doesn’t look like how it arrived,” Cathy says.
And many blokes may agree with what Mark had to say. He claims he and Jonathan have learned to just pack “half a suitcase”.

That’s because Cathy and Victoria will likely want to put some of their stuff in the boys’ bags, he says.
Indeed one moment on the show saw some airport floor repacking, with Jono forced to take some of the girls’ excess baggage.

“There’s always an argument. You’ve got to much baggage you’ve got to pay an excess, and things turn very nasty very quickly,” Mark says.
However the girls hit back, with Victoria saying it’s “different for men.”
“You’re happy to wear the same thing for a week,” she says, laughing.
